What happens when several problems hit at once, and the people responding are getting different information, have different authority, and very different resources?

That’s the question behind **Midterms 2026: Under Pressure**, SRG Strategic Consulting’s live scenario demo.

Today’s session also included an unscheduled exercise in platform operator failure. Teams took the title a little too seriously. So we’re doing it again—**on Zoom.**

**Thursday, October 1 | 12:15–12:45 p.m. Eastern**

We’ll work through the fictional election readiness scenario where the information, authority, relationships, and capacity don’t quite line up. Participants will weigh a decision together, then we’ll discuss what their choices reveal.

The question underneath it all: **How does preparedness guidance actually hold up in a local community?** Who can act? Whose information gets trusted? And what happens when the next step depends on a relationship nobody thought to build?

Expect twelve minutes of live scenario, followed by discussion. If you missed today, join us. If you joined and had to duck out during the delay, I’d love to have you back.

Can't make it? [Shoot me a quick email and I’ll send you Thursday’s recording afterward](mailto:shani@srgstrategicconsulting.com?subject=Under%20Pressure%3A%20Midterms%202026%20recording%20request). I won’t be sharing today’s recording, but I’ll send notes to those who asked.

Know someone whose work involves making consequential decisions under imperfect conditions? Please pass this along.

Apparently, I believe in field-testing the premise.

All my best,
